The American Association of University Women promotes equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research. AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. AAUW Wisconsin works to further the policies and programs of the Association both nationally and within the state, and consists of 35 local branches and one on-line branch with a total membership of 1900+. AAUW contributes to a more promising future and provides a powerful voice for women and girls—a voice that cannot and will not be ignored.

Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership (WWHEL) provides opportunities for networking, information sharing and support for women in leadership and encourages women faculty and staff to pursue leadership positions. Specifically, WWHEL can help and support women to develop specific skills, connect with colleagues who can provide valuable insight into the administrative role, identify career development contacts, and access state and national resources.

Since 1969, Next Door has represented a source of stability for low-income participants to build the educational and life skills needed to become contributing, successful members of society. Next Door promotes positive outcomes for children 6–16 years of age by strengthening academics, emphasizing relationships to family, building peer support and encouraging service to the community.
