WW=P Green Bay Local Solutions Network

The next meeting of the WW=P Local Solutions Network

     Date: Tuesday, June 13, 2006 
     Time:   4:30 - 5:30  PM 
     Location: YWCA, 2nd. Floor meeting room 
     Agenda:  Discussion of project or projects for 2006–07 

As you all know the purpose of local solutions network for the WW=P project is to raise the grade for women in Wisconsin. We have a good start in educating women to run for office hear in Brown County. We have learned from our successes. Now is the time to decide what is the next steps to help raise the grade for women in our area. WW=P is focusing on four areas state wide to improve the lives of women namely:

      1.  Leadership and Political Participation 
      2.  Economic Sufficiency 
      3.  Educational Opportunity 
      4.  Health, Safety and Well Being. 

We will discuss these areas and see if there is consensus on what we want to work on next. Of course we can build on our success in educating women on how to run for office or select other areas to build networks. Hope to see you at the YWCA on June 13, 2006
