Professor of History and Interim Dean and CEO of UW-Waukesha, Jane Crisler has worked to advance the status of women for over thirty years, beginning in the early 1970s when she began her career at UW-Milwaukee and was on the founding advisory committee of the Women’s Studies program. She was the founding coordinator of Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership (WWHEL), has served on national boards of the American Association of University Women and the Office of Women in Higher Education of the American Council on Education. She has worked with Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton on WW=P since 2003 and continues to support its mission.
