Alinea Seeks Volunteers for Connecting Youth, Inc.

There are more than 2,500 children in the child welfare system in Milwaukee County, 100 of them live in group homes because they cannot be adequately served by foster care. Thousands more youth are considered “at risk” of entering the child welfare system..

Connecting Youth, Inc. empowers at-risk youth and families to reunite and make healthy choices through a temporary nurturing environment, life skills, educational and employment support. They accomplish this through their group homes for teen boys, transition program following placement in the child welfare system and summer programs for at-risk youth.
