WCASA ANNOUNCES NEW POSITIONS
The Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WCASA) is excited to announce the creation of two new staff positions which will assist in the process of connecting regional service providers and act as points of contact for technical assistance support. The effort to fill these positions will begin immediately with the Director of Program Development and the Rural Technical Assistance Specialist; the process will culminate in the hiring of Regional Technical Assistance Specialists in 2010.
WCASA seeks to hire a Director of Program Development. This full time, salaried, leadership position will be primarily responsible for management of the Regional Technical Assistant Specialists, to be hired in early 2010. This position will move the organization and its forty-three state-wide sexual assault service providers toward a new model of technical assistance provision.
The Rural Technical Assistance Specialist, working under the direction of the Director of Program Development, and in league with the Regional Technical Assistance Specialists, WCASA staff, and the staff of Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WCADV), will seek to create and/or enhance services to sexual assault victims in remote, rural, and tribal areas of Wisconsin.
