Job Description: Full-time third shift telephone counselor for a 24/7 helpline that serves Waukesha, Jefferson and Dodge Counties. The helpline provides theraputic emotional support, crisis response, information and referral for human service needs.

Location: Waukesha, WI
Position Type: Full-time
Compensation: $10/hour minimum with $0.50 per hour shift premium
Type of Employment: Direct Hire
Responsibilities: To respond to callers on a 24/7 helpline that includes theraputic emotional support, crisis response, and information and referral for human service needs. Must attend monthly staff meetings, and be available as a first responder during a disaster.

Qualifications: Working toward or near completion of a Bachelor Degree in human service area. Excellent communication and writing skills. Proficient computer knowledge and skill. Ability to work independently within operational procedures. Must be able to participate in training classes.

Other information: Scheduled shifts are Monday-Friday 3rd shift.
