Lead to Succeed Seeks Program Facilitator
Background: Lead to Succeed is an industry-driven, youth leadership development program in which high school and college students work together on high level service learning projects that meet the critical needs of local non-profit organizations. In this program, service learning is not only leveraged as a way to engage students in academic learning, but also as a workforce and career development strategy. Projects are carefully created to expose students to the careers that will most be in demand by regional employers and to develop the employability skills that will ensure a successful and productive future workforce.
The program curriculum is implemented in approximately 45–60 hours over the course of a year, most of which is integrated directly into the school day at the participating high school or after school at a participating youth serving community based organization. The Program Facilitators are directly responsible for the implementation of the Lead to Succeed Curriculum and can be staff members of the participating school/organization or consultants contracted through CommUNITY Connections Consulting, the parent company of the Lead to Succeed Program.
