Journey House Seeks a Football Coach and Official

Job Title: Football Coaching and Officiating Coordinator
Reports To: Youth Programs Director, Football League Commissioner
FLSA Status: Exempt
Site Location: Clarke Square Neighborhood, Journey House Youth Center
Anticipated Start Date: January 4, 2009

Summary: The Coaching Coordinator plans, develops, and instructs Coaching and Officiating Training. This position is responsible for preparing participants to be job-ready, developing coaching and officiating skills goals, and placing participants into jobs that match their skills, interests, and career pathways. The Coaching Coordinator will work closely with the Urban Careers Institute Project Director, who oversees all aspects of the Urban Careers Institute. The Coaching Coordinator will also play a role in supporting and promoting the citywide Zilber Neighborhood Initiative and the Clarke Square Quality of Life Plan. In all instances the Coaching Coordinator must perform in accordance with and be committed to the Journey House mission and vision.
