The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin Seeks a Financial Manager
The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is an independent regulatory agency dedicated to serving the public interest. The agency is responsible for the regulation of Wisconsin public utilities, including those that are municipally-owned. The Financial Manager classification is assigned to Broadband Pay Schedule/Pay Range 81–01, and is included in the Career Executive Program. The starting salary will be between $59,405 and $98,021 annually, plus excellent benefits. A two-year trial period will be required upon appointment. This position is located in Madison.
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for internal and biennial budget development, expenditure monitoring, billing, procurement, and contract administration as well as preparation of fiscal notes for the agency. This position also serves as the Intervenor Compensation Coordinator for the Commission. This position includes supervisory responsibilities over the Records Management Program Supervisor and Division Fiscal Staff. Working with the Administrator of the Division of Administrative Services, this position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the agency Continuity of Operations (COOP), Pandemic and PSC Emergency Procedures Plans. The position further includes monitoring the agencies Workforce Planning conditions and implementing plan components, as needed. All of the services enumerated above are also performed for the Office of the Commissioner of Railroads.
