Financial success was the theme at the Spring Financial Festival held Saturday at Nicolet College. The event was organized by the Northwoods Regional Solutions Network (NRSA) which is part of the Wisconsin Women Equal Prosperity economic initiative.

Sue Kirby and Peggy Lass told their success stories. Both support the NRSA and the initiative to enable “women of all ages and stages of life to attain economic sufficiency, participate in community leadership, support educational achievement, and maintain health, safety and well-being.” Phil Schlachtenhaufen from Northwoods Saves addressed participants about saving techniques. Northwoods Saves is a nonprofit organization promoting savings and building wealth for area residents.

The next meeting of the NRSA will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Holiday Inn in Rhinelander. Both men and women are welcome.
