The historic roots of racism in Milwaukee have created disparities in addressing issues as well as providing access to resources which directly impact the daily lives of many people. Eliminating racism is an ongoing process that involves a willingness to learn about, and begin undoing, the hurts of racism in one’s personal, organizational, and community life. Come be a part of the dialogue and part of the solution. The series Unlearning Racism: Tools for Action provides an opportunity to discover the conscious and unconscious ways that racism has impacted our lives.
Facilitated dialogue, activities, movies and listening pairs will move participants forward on addressing racism. Join us for the series. Your voice matters.
