The Wisconsin Girls Collaborative Project’s Wisconsin Kickoff
The Great Lakes Girls Collaborative Project (GLGCP) will connect state affiliates of national educational equity-oriented organizations and the small organizations that are already implementing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) related projects for girls in the region.
GLGCP will build on our relationships with state affiliates of the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity, Association for Gender Equity Leadership in Education, National Association of Black School Educators, National Association for Multicultural Education, National Association for Bilingual Education, American Indian Science and Engineering Society and similar organizations.
By connecting state affiliates and small organizations, GLGCP will provide additional opportunities for collaboration and increase access to STEM-related projects.
Wisconsin Girls Collaborative Project will host a conference that offers the chance for schools and organizations committed to informing and motivating girls to pursue classes and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to come together to share best practices, develop new collaborations, and share resources. Along with an introduction to the Great Lakes Girls Collaborative Project, participants will learn about how to apply for a mini-grant, and have time for networking.
