Mount Mary College Marketing Team
Mount Mary’s Women’s Leadership Institute presented Mark Thompson as the keynote speaker for its Sixth Annual Geneva Bolton Johnson Leadership Fall Forum on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee.
Thompson, co-author of the International Bestseller, Success Built to Last, and Bonita Buell Thompson, director of research for the book, shared what they learned while interviewing successful leaders and luminaries including Michael Dell, Esther Dyson, Lance Armstrong, Sir Richard Branson and others.
Executives, directors, senior managers and managers seeking to infuse energy into their leadership development and practice attended to learn how those interviewed attained both career success and a meaningful life. Thompson’s energetic, enthusiastic presentation challenged the attendees to put their passions to work to achieve success and create a life that matters.
The event also included a panel discussion featuring successful Milwaukee-area women leaders including Carol Skornicka, retired Midwest Airlines Sr. VP and General Counsel, and Cindy Lu, VP and Co-Founder of The Novo Group.
